What is covered, for how long, and what to do about it.
The warranty on every bike we sell is the manufacturer’s, honoured through us as an authorised dealer. The return terms are ours. Both are written out here rather than promised vaguely and explained later.
Who the warranty covers
The original purchaser, and only them. It is not transferable: selling the bike ends it. Cover starts the day you buy it here, and a claim needs the receipt and the serial number on the frame.
Buying from an authorised dealer is the point. The same bike from a marketplace seller carries no warranty at all, and that gap is most of the price difference you see online.
Frame: up to 10 years
The structural integrity of the frame is warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a service life of up to ten years from purchase.
Paint, decals and cosmetic finishes are not covered by it, and neither are forks, rigid or suspension. Those sit under the component terms below.
Electrics and battery: 2 years
Motor, controller, LCD display, wiring harness, ECU, throttle and sensors are covered against manufacturing defects for 24 months.
The battery is covered for two years or 300 charge cycles, whichever comes first. Within that it is designed to hold up to 75% of its original capacity. A pack that has simply been used a great deal is not a faulty pack, and we will tell you which one you have rather than guess.
The first six months: parts and labour
For the first six months, a failure that is not down to damage or misuse is repaired at no cost to you: new parts, and the labour covered too. Because we are the dealer who sold it, that happens on our bench rather than by posting the bike somewhere.
From month seven to month 24, replacement parts for eligible manufacturing defects stay covered. Labour is quoted and is yours.
What is not covered
Wear. Tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, chains, cables, spokes and grips wear out by being used, and after the first six months they are consumables rather than faults.
Nor is damage from a crash, water beyond the bike’s rating, modification, a battery charged with something other than its own charger, or a bike whose speed limiter has been altered. That last one also takes the bike outside Florida’s definition of an electric bicycle — there is a whole post on that.
Returns: 30 days
If the bike is not right, bring it back within 30 days of buying it. Talk to us first, on (689) 316-0434, so we can say what to bring and book the bench time.
Unused, as sold. Full refund.
Ridden under 10 miles. 30% restocking fee on the price paid.
Ridden over 10 miles. 50% restocking fee, and the original packaging is required.
The odometer at inspection decides which applies, and accessories or anything that came free with the bike come back too. There is no return shipping fee, because you are carrying it here yourself.
Exchanges: 7 days
Changed your mind about which model within the first week? If the bike has under a mile on it and is otherwise as sold, we will exchange it and settle the difference in price.
An exchange and a return are separate and cannot be combined. Past seven days or a mile, the return terms above are what apply.
Why we would rather you test rode it
A restocking fee is nobody’s idea of a good afternoon. Ten minutes on the bike before you buy avoids the whole conversation, which is the main reason we keep every model charged and let people ride them properly.
Book a ride and bring whatever you are replacing, if there is one.
How to start a claim
Call (689) 316-0434 or email voltworldusa@gmail.com with the model, the serial number on the frame, and what the bike is doing. A photo or a short video of the fault saves a visit more often than not.
These terms summarise the manufacturer’s limited warranty as it stood on October 5, 2026, and our own return policy. The manufacturer may revise theirs; where the two differ, the warranty you hold is the one in force on the day you bought the bike.
