FAQQuestions we get
Questions we get
every week.
Does the bike arrive assembled?
It arrives mostly built. Handlebars, pedals and the front wheel are usually the last steps depending on the model, and every bike comes with a tool kit, a manual and a video that walks you through it.
What do Class 2 and Class 3 mean?
It is the U.S. e-bike classification. Class 2 assists to 20 to 22 mph and can be ridden on the throttle without pedalling, which is where the Run Mini sits. Class 3 assists up to 28 mph, which covers the Urban X, Dremax, Roma and Nomad Pro. The Urban X ships preset to 20 mph for that reason. Where each class is allowed to ride changes from city to city and trail to trail, so check your local rules.
How long does a charge take?
The Run Mini takes 4 to 5 hours and the Dremax 5 to 6. The other models depend on the pack and charger shipped with the bike, and the manufacturer does not publish a figure for every one. Ask us and we will confirm it for the exact unit going out to you.
Can I take the battery out?
On the Cycrun 2.0 and the CycHunter 2.0, yes, and the CycHunter takes a second pack alongside the first. For the rest, the manufacturer does not publish it either way, so ask us before you buy and we will check the actual unit rather than guess.
How do I look after the battery?
Use the charger it came with. Store the pack indoors, roughly between 50°F and 77°F. Do not leave it flat for weeks. If the bike is going to sit, park the pack near half charge and top it up once a month.
Do you ship, or do I collect?
Message us on WhatsApp at (689) 316-0434 or email voltworldusa@gmail.com and we will confirm delivery options and timing for your address before you order.
Can I ride one before I buy?
Yes. The experience centre is in Florida, open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. Tell us which model and when, and we will have it charged.
What about warranty and returns?
Every bike is covered by our warranty. Send us your order number and the serial on the frame and we will tell you exactly what is covered and for how long.
Are these road legal in Florida?
Florida treats an electric bicycle as a bicycle: no driver licence, no registration, no title and no insurance. Section 316.003 defines one as having working pedals, a seat and a motor of less than 750 watts, in one of three classes. Cities can regulate e-bikes on their streets and sidewalks, and whoever runs a path or trail may restrict or prohibit them outright. An off-road model without pedals is not a bicycle in the eyes of the statute. Our full write-up goes through the lighting, helmet and labelling rules as well.
Do I need a helmet?
Florida law requires one for riders and passengers under 16. Over 16 it is your call, but 28 mph is traffic speed and we would wear one.
Battery care
Five habits that
Five habits that
double a pack's life.
Lithium packs die of neglect far more often than they die of mileage.
- Use the charger it came with. Nothing else.
- Store the pack indoors, roughly 50°F to 77°F.
- Do not leave it flat for weeks.
- Parking the bike for a while? Leave it near half charge, top up monthly.
- Let a hot pack cool before you plug it in after a long ride.
Something not right?
Tell us the model, the symptom and your order number. We will come back the same working day.
