Where we stop, honestly
Some brands seal their controllers and sell parts only to their own network. Some batteries cannot be opened without destroying them.
When that is what you have, we say so, point you to who can do it, and do not charge you for finding out.
A dead motor usually is not
Range that halved over one summer is usually not the battery. A bike that cuts out under load is usually a connector.
Knowing which before parts get ordered is the difference between a repair and a bill. That is what 6 years buys you.
Batteries: the careful part
A pack that has been crashed, soaked or left flat for a year is the one component that can hurt you. We test it and tell you what it has left.
Swollen, smells, or got hot while charging? Stop charging it, get it away from the house, and call us before you ride it anywhere.
