Paved trail punishes the wrong tire

Fat tires exist to float over sand and loose ground. On smooth paved trail they do nothing for you except add rolling resistance and weight, and you feel both on a long flat run.

Check the class rules before you ride

All three e-bike classes are legal on Florida roads, but trail managers can and do restrict Class 3 on paths where Class 1 and 2 are welcome. That is a local decision, not a state one.
