At 15 mph on a quiet road, top speed is irrelevant and ride quality is everything. An hour in the saddle finds every shortcut a frame took.
The Roma is the only bike we stock with real rear suspension — a four-link linkage rather than a seat post that gives a little. The Cycrun 2.0 has a fork and rear shocks for a third of the money.
Class 2 is plenty here
A 28 mph bike is built for keeping up with traffic. On a quiet lake road there is no traffic to keep up with, and the extra speed mostly buys you a heavier bike.
