Around Oviedo and UCF, the bike has to be easy to lock and leave.
Campus and trail riding has a problem the suburbs do not: the bike spends hours parked somewhere public, and weight matters when you are carrying it up a step.

Keyless unlock is more useful than it sounds
A key you have to find in a bag every time is a key you eventually leave at home. Keyless unlock removes that, and it is one more thing between your bike and somebody walking off with it.
The Cycrun 2.0 and CycHunter 2.0 unlock by NFC. The Nomad Pro uses an NFC card. None of it replaces a decent lock, but it helps.

Weight is the number you will feel daily
A 93 lb fat-tire bike is wonderful on sand and miserable on a stairwell. If your bike goes indoors at either end of the trip, that figure matters more than the motor does.
The Dremax is 65 lbs and the Urban X 70.5. Those two are the ones to look at if lifting is part of your day.
